While stay at home moms are one of my biggest fans (for my food blog), I also gag when they say hubby or the man (but especially hubby) when they refer to their husbands. And there's one ... when they comment on a recipe as 'yummy.' What the hell happened to words like delicious or good or tasty or lipsmacking. Yummy? Hubby? Yummy hubby? I like to cruise and comment, only it wasn't always reciprocated...which is fine...but like you there are just too many sites out there that are crap (I'll say it!) My traffic might be a bit less for a while, but it will be of higher quality, and the bounce rate will improve. Besides that I don't want to leave unnecessary scripts running on my blog. Most of my posts already contain images and my header can be a bit heavy to load, so I don't want to slow down my page even further with scripts that are not necessary. This includes the Entrecard widget.
